WHO ARE WE?

Pastor Olatunde Akinola has been an ordained minister for many years before God instructed him to start Christ the Redeemer Bible church. After many instructions from God to start the ministry, God instructed him to meet the referred man of God, Dr. D.K Olukoya, the founder of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. Two weeks after the instruction to meet the great man of God, God ordered the step of Dr. D.K Olukoya to come to Houston, and God made it possible for both to meet. Dr. Olukoya confirmed the calling with instructions from God, guidance, and laying of hands on January 21st, 2024.

The ministry was established and registered. The First meeting of the ministry started on April 16th, 2024, with bible study at the residence of the founder.

The Founder

Pastor Olatunde Akinola, the founder of Christ the Redeemer Bible Church, was called by God and given the mandate to wipe away tears from the faces of the people. The focus of his calling is the preaching of the genuine words of God to save souls, prayer, healing, deliverance and the prophetic ministry. He was called into the Ministry after working in the banking sector for almost 10 years. He also worked as a Scientist and a university tutor for many years.

He is passionate about God’s work and his people. God has been using him for many years to train many new converts, Baptismal students, prospective workers in the church of God, School of Disciples, ministers, and other leadership trainings in the church of God. He is married to Pastor Oluwaseun Akinola, and they are blessed with many children, which include both biological and spiritual children.

The Co-pastor

Pastor Mrs. Seun Akinola is the wife of pastor Tunde Akinola. She is a Co-pastor at Christ the Redeemer Bible Church. She is a lover of God who is passionate about the Kingdom work, growth and dedicated service to God. She is a worshipper, a gospel music minister, and an entrepreneur.

She is married and blessed with children.

Departments in our Church

Choir

The Choir leads the congregation in heartfelt praise and worship, creating an atmosphere that invites God’s presence. Through music and ministry, they help prepare hearts to encounter the Word of God.

Media and Technical

Responsible for sound, visuals, and livestreams, this team manages all technical aspects that enhance the worship experience. Their excellence ensures that every message and moment is delivered clearly and effectively.

Intercessory

Dedicated to prayer, the Intercessory Team stands in the gap for the church, its members, and the community. They uphold the ministry in consistent intercession, believing God for revival, healing, and transformation.

Ushering

The Ushering Team ensures every service runs smoothly by welcoming members and visitors, maintaining order, and assisting with seating and coordination. Their warmth and organization help create a friendly, comfortable worship atmosphere.

Children’s Department

This department nurtures young hearts in the knowledge of God through engaging lessons, songs, and activities. Their goal is to build strong spiritual foundations and instill godly values from an early age.

Sunday School

Sunday School provides Bible-based teaching for all ages, helping believers grow in faith and understanding. It’s a space for learning, discussion, and applying God’s Word to everyday life.

Welfare

Provides care and practical support to members and families in need, showing compassion and ensuring no one in the church community feels alone during difficult times.

Sanctuary Keepers

Maintains the cleanliness and order of the church sanctuary, preparing the space for worship and programs with excellence and reverence.
